Plans are in the works for the Melodie Hope Jones Memorial Scholarship Fun “Sunflower Fun Run/Walk.” The event is scheduled for Sept. 25 at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. There is a kids’ one mile color run at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:30 a.m.
The cost is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the kids run. T-shirts are guaranteed if signed up by Aug 24. Please wear bright colors on the day of the run. For more information, visit the group’s Facebook page or email melodiesmeow@ gmail.com.
