SWEARING-IN—Rockdale ISD trustees (L-R) Wenda Dyer (Place 5) Charles Miles (Place 4) and Amy Ogea-Casas (Place
3) were sworn in recently during the May school board session. Casas won a contested race on May 4 while Dyer and Miles were unopposed. Troy Zinn was re-elected board president, Lin Perry was named vice-president and Dyer was re-elected secretary. Outgoing trustee Michelle Lehmkuhl, who did not seek re-election, was honored for her service including seven years as board vice- president and three as president. In other business, trustees hired Francesca Edmondson and Marcus McNeil. Trustees discussed a student discipline matter in executive session.
