EDUCATION NOTES

TEMPLE—Temple College has listed a number of local and area students as recipients of award, and earning dean’s list recognition for the spring semester of 2019 as follows:

AWARDS

• Karmjeet Gill, Rockdale, recipient of the Anna Davis Clinical Care Award in Associate Degree Nursing.

• Madison Meinardus, Thorndale, recipient of the Glynda Parker Clinical Excellence Award in the Taylor Program’s Clinical Excellence Award.

PRESIDENT’S

HONORS LIST

To be named to the President’s Honors list, a student must take at least nine semester credit hours and earn at least a 4.0 grade-point average:

• Buckholts—Bryant Marwitz.

• Burlington—Kailey Bennett, Kelby Kosel, Kolby Kosel.

• Cameron—Tyler Bennett, Callyn Harris.

• Thorndale—Kristi Becker, Cristi Biehle.

VICE-PRESIDENT’S

HONORS LIST

To be named to the Vice-President’s Honors list, a student must take at least nine semester credit hours and earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average:

Hafley earns sports

management degree

KERRVILLE—Jordan Hadley of Thorndale was awarded a degree at recent commencement exercises at Schreiner University.

Hafley was awarded a bachelor of art degree in sport management.

One-hundred and fifty three Schreiner students graduated from the university during the spring commencement exercises.

Schreiner is an independent, coeducational liberal art university related to the Presbyterian Church (USA).
