CAMERON—Ten persons were sentenced during the past two weeks in 20th District Court of Milam County, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey.
Torrey listed case dispositions as follows:
• Gavin Dieon Monie, 21, Rockdale, two-year prison term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for assault on public servant.
• James Douglas Wolfe, 28, Rockdale, 365-day state jail division term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Amber Rose Trejo, 26, Rockdale, eight-month state jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Allen Keith Dunn, 27, Pflugerville, three years deferred adjudication 22-day county jail term, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).
• Jacob Rodriguez, 43, Taylor, 5-year prison term probated for three years $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to DWI-third or more.
• Jill Elizabeth Charanza, 29, Cameron, five years deferred adjudication, theft aversion course, $1,000 fine and $20,000 to the victim after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, theft ($2,500 to $3,000).
• Ruby Geneva Cardona, 41, Round Rock, three years deferred adjudication, theft aversion course $373.19 restitution to victims after pleading guilty to engaging in organized criminal activity.
• Braunsha Lamont Barker, 34, Harker Heights, five-year probated prison term, $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to DWI-third or more.
• Andrew Richard Burke III, 49, Rockdale, 180-day county jail term after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material.
• Matthew Wade Strain, 47, Rockdale, was sentenced to 180-day state term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for theft of fi rearm.
Owner of ‘junkyard’ re-arrested Tuesday
Ira Richard “Richie” Thrasher Jr., 43, owner of property along East Cameron Ave. (US 79) in Rockdale, determined to be a “junkyard,” was arrested for the second time on Tuesday.
Thrasher was booked into the Milam County Jail on 13 counts of bond surrender and one of bond forfeiture in connection with previous charges.
