CAMERON–Ten persons were sentenced last week in 20th District Court.

• Andrew Alan Nipps, 42, of Cameron, five and one half years prison term and ordered to pay $720 restitution after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substances (1-4 grams). He also was sentenced to five and one half years after pleading guilty to tampering with evidence.

• John Royce Bounds, 35, of Hearne, 12 month prison term after pleading guilty to a sex offender duty to register.

• James Ward Timmerman, 44, Rockdale, four-year deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $11,042.50 in restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to attempted burglary of habitation.

• Senaida Leigh Leslie, 37, of Rockdale, five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to attempted possession of controlled substance (4-400 grams).

• Kerrie Lee Weatherly, 52 , Cameron, two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Amber Ellis, 27, of Temple, five year prison term, probated three years with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and forfeit all rights to the weapon after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

• Niels Beery, 65, of Rock-dale, two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Melissa Mae Miller, 38, of Cameron, five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation, ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to tampering with evidence

• George Harold Grayson, 68, of Rockdale, five year prison term and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and parole restitution of $23,159.30 after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for a felony, theft of livestock (less than $150,000).

• Christopher Mark Anderson, 22, of Rockdale, 190 days prison term after pleading guilty to a sex offender duty to register.
