THANKS, DPS—Department of Public Safety Area 6A06 recently donated a new, handmade picnic table to American Legion Carlyle Post 358. Post Commander Jim McKimmey presented a certificate of appreciation to the DPS. From left, front, are DPS Sgt. David Yarbrough, McKimmey and Troopers Jacob Luna and Broderick Sims. McKimmey also expressed appreciation to members of the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department for their assistance in unloading the table, removing the old table and moving it to a burn pit. “Both organizations support our post and veterans in general,” he said.
