POLICE REPORT

A report of theft of mulch, and quick response by police, led to the arrest of a Cameron-area couple Sunday.

Lt. Stephen Goodrich said police received a call from Tractor Supply reporting someone taking mulch from a store pallet.

He said a vehicle description was obtained and Ofc. Joah McCaleb located the vehicle and made the two arrests.

Brian Leon Robinson, 32, and Daphanie Spiers Robinson, 27, were both charged with criminal trespass.

Daphanie Robinson’s charge was upgraded to theft of property (less than $2,500) with two or more previous convictions due to her previous record, Goodrich said.

Daphanie Robinson remained in the Milam County Jail at presstime Tuesday in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Brian Robinson was released after posting $3,000 bond.
