Join the Little River Basin Master Gardeners and El Camino Real Master Naturalists of Milam County on November 11th at 10:00 am at the Patterson Civic Center, 609 Mill Avenue, Rockdale, Texas, to learn about the iNaturalist app. The guest speaker will be Dr. Tania Homayoun, Texas Nature Trackers Biologist, Texas Parks and Wildlife. iNaturalist is an online data collection tool for the naturalist community. Dr. Homayoun will introduce iNaturalist and provide basic information on how to get started using it to make observations, add identifications, and explore nature where you are and beyond. Weather permitting, attendees may get outside and practice making observations on the phone app, so we recommend coming to the session with an iNaturalist account set up and the iNaturalist app loaded onto your phone if possible. The public is invited.
