“Rio,” a animated movie about a blue macaw named—what else?—“Blu,” was a big hit at the Kay Theatre Thursday for a nearly full house of children in the first of three free movies being shown as part of the city library’s Texas Reading Club program. This Thursday’s film is “The Muppet Movie” and “Sing” will be shown June 21. The reading program “Libraries Rock” is at the library 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Finale is 10 a.m. June 28 at the I&GN Depot Museum.
