The Thorndale High School Bulldog Band placed third in the UIL State Class 2A Marching Contest last Tuesday in the Alamodome. The band is directed by Michael Powers, assisted by Kendall Freeman. The Bulldog Band earned a trip to state by finishing fourth out of 21 bands at a UIL Class 2A area competition.
