Delivery dates are coming up for two Milam County “Christmas Cheer” drives.
Both Thorndale Cares and the Milam County Sheriff’s Department’s Brown Santa will make deliveries on Thursday, Dec. 20.
THORNDALE CARES—Applications for Melvin Hirt’s Thorndale Cares may be picked up at Thorndale City Hall, or the Thorndale Elementary office, and returned to those locations by Friday.
New applications must be submitted every year to be included, Hirt said.
Deliveries will be made between 8 and 10 a.m. Dec. 20, and recipients must be at home to receive the packages of food and toys.
BROWN SANTA—
Pickup and delivery for Brown Santa will be Dec. 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
New, unwrapped, toys may be brought to the sheriff’s office. That’s the only “drop” location. Ask for Mrs. Adams.
