“Legal” teams from Buckholts, Cameron, Milano, Rockdale and Thorndale presented legal arguments in a difficult DWI case at this year’s moot court last week.

“Moot court gives students a chance at a learning experience and a glimpse into the legal world,” according to Judge Steve Young.

Out of 16 teams, this year’s winners were Roy Moody and Alyssa Pacal from Thorndale, and the runners up were Alize Rose and Lyndzie Perez from Milano. The Thorndale team won a $1,000 scholarship and the Milano team took home $500.
