The Thorndale City Council approved the development of vacant lots at 606 and 702 East US 79 for the construction of Thorndale Plaza at the Nov. 11 meeting in City Hall.
Council members also voted to remove two stop signs facing east and west from Gibson and North Second streets.
The city deeded the fire station property back to the Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department.
Council members also approved COVID-19 funds for Country Meadows Clinic, but that is contingent on approval from the state.
