Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including: • Brittany Shields, 35, Austin, was arrested for capital murder.
• Willie Johnson, 52, Round Rock, was arrested for theft of property ($2,500) with two or more previous convictions.
• David Woerndel, 17, Rockdale, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams).
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 141 total calls for service over the past seven days including 79 for 911 emergency service.
Arrests
RPD officers made 11 arrests over the past week including three for failure to appear, two for failure to maintain financial responsibility, and one each for assault by threat, public intoxication with three prior convictions, a Milam County Sheriff's Office warrant, displaying wrong/fictitious license plate, and theft of less than $100.
Incident Report
There were 12 incidents on the report for the past week including three for the report only, and one each for Class C assault, public intoxication with three prior convictions, runaway juvenile, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), theft of petroleum product (under $10,000), theft of under $100, theft of property ($2,500 to $30,000), and theft of property ($750 to $2,500).
