Three Rockdale residents were arrested at midweek last week and charged with using stolen checks at several Rockdale businesses.

Lt. Stephen Goodrich said the checks were stolen from the Hutto Ag Boosters Club. “They were being passed at several locations in Rockdale including Brookshire Bros. and Midway Grocery.”

He said police viewed surveillance video and made arrests as follows:

Stacey Michelle David, 81, Uockdale, forjery finan cial instrument, released on $10,000 bond.

• Latrina Dasha David-Myers, 29, Rockdale, forjery financial instrument, released on $10,000 bond.

• Crispin Gonzales J r., 28, Rockdale, engaging in organized criminal activity, in custody on $2o,000 bond.

ACCIDENTS—Police were called to four traffic accidents during the past week.

According to police, vehicles driven by Cayla Guidry and Hannah Gerren, both of Rockdale, at 7:34 a.m. Oct. 30 at the intersection of Highland Ave. and Rock-dale Road.

Damage estimates were not available from police.

Moderate damages were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 8:09 a.m. Friday at the Scarbrough-Murray intersection.

Drivers were listed as Emily Depine of Rockdale an Katie Vogelsang of Cameron.

No injuries were reported to police.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at 2 p.m. Friday on West Cameron (US 79) at Car uest.

Police said an SUV driven by Sandra Gonzales of Rockdale, was struck by a tan pickup which then left the scene.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:47 p.m. Friday on West Cameron Avenue (US 79) in front of McDonald’s.

Police said vehicles were driven by Dana Storm and Destiny Arnold, both of Rockdale.

Damages were termed major to both vehicles but no injuries were reported, police said.

SERVICE CALLS—Rffi0 cers responded to 129 calls for service during the seven day reporting period and there were 81 calls received through the 911 service.

CITATIONS— Police issued 82 citations during the past week including 60 for speeding.
