POLICE REPORT
Rockdale police made three arrests during the past week as follows:
• Darnell Benson Jr., 26, Rockdale, motion to proceed-possession of controlled substance (4 to 400 grams), bond surrender-terroristic threat, in custody on $13,000 bond.
• Curtis Colton Chavos, 31, Milano, evading arrest/detention with vehicle, bail jumping/ failure to appear, bond surrender-reckless driving, bond surrender-driving while license invalid/suspended with previous conviction/suspension without financial resolution, in custody, no bond on evading arrest and bail jumping, $5,000 bond on other charges.
• Angelina Rideaux, 33, Rockdale, theft of services ($2,500 to $30,000), released on $7,000 bond.
ACCIDENTS—An accident was reported at 7:52 p.m. June 26 in the parking lot of Julio’s Restaurant. Police said a car operated by Melissa Miller of Cameron was in collision with a parked van operated by Elaine Van Horn of Rockdale. Damages were termed minor.
Minor damages were reported at 1:07 p.m. Friday in the Dairy Queen parking lot when a car driven by Carol Copeland of Georgetown was in collision with a parked vehicle owned by Debbie McKimmey of Cameron.
Police said vehicles operated by Sage Wycough of Thorndale and Jorge Fuentes of Cameron were in collision at 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Alcoa. Damages were termed “very minor.”
SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 140 calls for service during the week and there were 84 calls received through the 911 emergency system.
