Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including: • Bryan Freeman, 27, Cameron, was arrested by Sgt. Hubnik for burglary of habitation and prohibited substance in a correctional facility. He was transported to Milam County Jail.
• Niels Hunt Beery, 67, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Sgt. Parker for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance (4 grams to 200 grams).
• Breyant Rashaad King, 34, Rockdale, was arrested on Sunday by Sgt. Parker for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Accidents Ofc. Lentz responded to 731 West Bell on Wednesday for a report of a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle.
Ofc. Hensley responded to the 1500 block of Cameron Avenue on Friday for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries.
Sgt. Parker responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cameron and Burleson with injuries on Saturday.
Sgt. Parker responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cameron and Scarborough on Sunday.
Arrests RPD officers made six arrests during the past seven days including two for warrants for no driver’s license, and one each for a warrant for speeding, a warrant for violating promise to appear, possession of marijuana and criminal trespass.
Calls for service Rockdale Police Officers responded to 255 total calls for service during the past week with 113 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report There were 19 incidents on the report this week including five for interview room, three for minor in possession, two for burglary of habitation, and one each for criminal trespass, prohibited substance in correctional facility, manufacture and delivery of controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), citation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, terroristic threat, unlawful restraint and destruction order.
