Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including:

• Abbigail Meredith, 19, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Sgt. Fain on two Milam County Sheriff’s Department warrants for terroristic threat against peace officer and bail jumping and failure to appear. She also had a Colorado warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released to a Sheriff’s Department deputy.

• Michael Ray Hawkins Jr., 44, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Officer Catherine Parker for deadly conduct and criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000).

• Joel Delane Page II, 27, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Officer Lauren Hensley on a local warrant for evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle.

Calls for service

RPD officers responded to 300 total calls during the past week including 91 for 911 emergency service.

Arrests

Rockdale Police Officers made nine arrests during the past week including one each for warrant for expired license, warrant for no liability insurance, warrant for expired license plate, warrant for maximum speed required, warrant for animal at large, warrant for failure to appear, DWI, fictitious license plate and possession of marijuana (2 to 4 ounces).

Incident report

There were 22 incidents on the report during the past week including nine for interview room, three for minor in possession , two for outstanding warrants, two for criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000), and one each for warrant service, burglary of a building, theft, deadly conduct, forgery and DWI.

Accidents

RPD Officers responded to three accidents during the past week including:

• Officer Parker responded to the 900 block of East Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident with injury on Thursday. The injured party was taken to Scott and White Taylor by AMR.

• Sgt. Hubnik responded to a three-vehicle hit and run accident at Ackerman and Main Streets. One vehicle was at Davilla and Green Streets. One driver was issued a citation for failure to control speed and another driver was transported by AMR for shoulder pain.

• Officer Puente responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cameron Avenue and Charles Street. Both vehicles were off the roadway and there were no injuries.
