Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past week including: • Christopher Andrew Lopez, 27, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Lentz on a warrant for possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram).
• Clayton Ray Merka, 30, Rockdale, was arrested on Wednesday by Ofc. Wachtel for a Rockdale warrant for burglary of habitation, tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair, possession of controlled substance (4 to 400 grams). And also two Milam County warrants.
• Elizabeth Freitag, 30, Rockdale, was arrested Monday by Ofc. Puente for a Lee County warrant for probation violation/tamper fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair. And also for three Class C warrants.
Accidents
Ofc. Davis and Cpt. Goodrich responded to Cameron Avenue and Meadow Drive on Tuesday for a three-vehicle accident blocking traffic and with unknown injuries. AMR and Rockdale VFD also responded.
Arrests
RPD officers made 13 arrests during the past week including two for no drivers license, and one each for Milam County warrant bond forfeiture on accident involving damage to vehicle more than $200, bond forfeiture on possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), RPD Capias warrant for expired drivers license, RPD Capias warrant for expired registration, RPD Capias warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility, RPD warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility (second offense), RPD warrant for failure to display driver’s license, RPD warrant for no motorcycle endorsement, RPD warrant for failure to appear and bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 290 total calls for service during the past week with 109 being for 911 emergency service.
Incident report
There were 14 incidents on the report for the past week including five for interview room only, three for outstanding warrants, two for no driver’s license, and one each for theft of firearm, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, possession of controlled substance (4 to 400 grams) and criminal trespass.
