POLICE REPORT

Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including: • 16-year - old white male juvenile was arrested on Sunday by Ofc. Krejci on a warrant for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, two warrants for criminal attempt and 10 warrants for burglary of a vehicle.

 

• Harvey Locklin Jr., 45, Rockdale, was arrested on Monday by Ofc. Hensley and Ofc. Lentz for a warrant for criminal mischief impair/ interrupt/divert public service (less than $30,000).

Accidents Rockdale Police Officers responded to five accidents during the past seven days including:

• Sgt. Frankland and Ofc. Puente responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main and West Cameron Avenue on Wednesday. No injuries were reported.

 

• Sgt. Hubnik responded to the Regency Inn for a report of a vehicle hitting another vehicle in the parking lot on Thursday.

 

• Sgt. Hubnik responded to West Cameron Avenue and Ackerman for a report of a two-vehicle accident on Thursday. No injuries were reported.

 

• Capt. Goodrich responded to Cameron and Wilcox for a report of a two-vehicle accident in no injuries and minor damage on Friday.

 

• Ofc. Hensley responded to Murphy Oil in reference to a two-vehicle accident blocking traffice with no injuries on Sunday. No injuries were reported.

Arrests RPD officers made 16 arrests during the past week including 10 for RPD warrants for burglary of a vehicle, two for criminal attempt, and one each for no driver’s license, failure to appear and criminal mischief impair/ interrupt/divert public service (less than $30,000).

Calls for Service Rockdale Police Officers responded to a total of 268 calls for service during the past week with 80 being for 911 emergency service.

Incident Report There were 30 incidents on the report during the past week including 12 interview room, five for burglary of a vehicle, two for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, and one each for accident involving damage to a vehicle (less than $200), emergency order of detention, criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000), debit/credit card abuse, drugs or alcohol, burglary of habitation, towed vehicle, outstanding warrants, aggravated assault, Class C assault, and criminal mischief $100 to $750).
