Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests dur ing the past week including:
• Cody Ray Box, 45, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc, Rodriguez for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free one (1 gam to 4 grams), and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone (less than 2 ounces).
• Carlos Arvizu, 34, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wachtel for arson.
• Rodrigo Estrada, 26, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Davis for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), and a parole violation.
Accidents
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries near the intersection of Cameron Avenue and Austin Street on Jan. 14 at 4:08 p.m.
• Ofc. Lentz responded to Cameron Avenue at Green Street for a minor three vehicle accident on Jan. 16 at 10:31 a.m.
• Ofc Wachtel responded to USA Foods for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Jan. 18 at 4:05 p.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to the Walmart parking lot for a minor two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Jan. 19 at 12:56 p.m.
Arrests RPD officers made one arrest during the past seven days for public intoxication.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 270 total calls for service during the past week including 98 calls for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 19 incidents on the report for the past week including eight for the report only, two each for possession of a controlled substance, and theft, and one each for possession of marijuana, burglary, arson, public intoxication, parole violation, assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
