Before becoming a state champion on Saturday at the state track meet, Milano High School senior Christian Thurman signed his letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Brookhaven College near Dallas on Friday in the MHS library in front of friends, family and MISD administrators. Thurman is a four-year letterman for the Eagles and led them in scoring this season with 17.8 points-per-game.
