TRAFFIC STOPPER

TRAFFIC STOPPER—Literally. This giant transformer slowed, and at times shut down, traffic along US 79 through Rockdale as it zig-zagged its way through the heart of downtown one morning early last week. The transformer, property of Luminant, was making its way to the Victoria area, using mostly non-primary roads as it wound its way south. Reporter/Kyle Cooke
