Several traffic stops ended with drug arrests in Rockdale during the past week, according to Lt. Stephen Goodrich of the Rockdale Police Department.
He said three persons were charged last Wednesday after a small amount of a substance believed to be methamphetmine was discovered during a search.
“Nobody in the vehicle said the substance belonged to them so all three were charged,” Goodrich said.
Charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram) were Alexis Piedra, 22, 42-year-old Andrew Nipps and Timber Carrizales, 19.
Bond on each was set at $7,000.
A separate traffic stop that day resulted in an arrest for cocaine possession plus two warrants from Bexar County.
Gino Lynn Espinoza, 39, of Kyle was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Milam County bond was set at $14,400.

Bond was set at $58,000.
