The City of Rockdale’s spring Stash Your Trash event, which was partially rained out April 13, has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. to 12-noon this Saturday.
Those taking advantage of Stash Your Trash should enter Fair Park through the main gate at Mill Street and exit Gate 5 at Roberts Street. Look for signs.
Free chipping will also be offered for limbs four inches and smaller. Limbs must be loaded from a truck or trailer.
“Please separate metal from regular trash for easier disposal,” City Manager Chris Whittaker said.
Stash Your Trash cannot accept motor oil, batteries and any items which contain refrigerant, hazardous chemicals or paint in liquid form.
