Rockdale has had some visitors on its streets and almost literally in the skies over the past several weeks. Oncor contractor crews are trimming tree limbs around lines. According to Oncor, limbs are trimmed for safety reasons, to prevent them breaking and falling on power lines, to avoid the lines coming into contact with swaying branches during periods of high wind and to provide safety for utility workers.
