Milam County State Troopers were called out to several accidents in the Rockdale area during the last seven days.
Trooper Michael McHale said a one-vehicle crash on FM 3061 near County Road 421A was reported at 4:24 p.m. Sept. 4.
Driver was listed as Billy Sterling, 56, of Bellmead. He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Vehicle damages were termed “moderate.”
A passenger was treated after a one-vehicle crash at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 on County Road 428 near FM 486.
Trooper Broderick Sims listed the driver as 18-year-old Clarissa Morris of Thorndale.
Her passenger was listed as 17-year-old Abigail Huckabay.
Damages were termed moderate.
Trooper McHale said a vehicle sustained minor damage after is was sideswiped Friday on US 79 by a vehicle which left the scene.
He listed the driver of the damaged vehicle as Robert Benson II, 45, of Belton.
Major damage, but no serious injuries, were reported at 11:23 a.m. Saturday when a vehicle left FM 486, northeast of CR 427 and collided with a tree.
Driver was listed as Calvon Henderson, 28, of San Antonio.
The DPS said Tuesday a presstime it did not have a crash report yet on a motorcycle-animal accident about 5:30 a.m. on the US 77 curve in Minerva.
Cameron Police dispatched Cameron and Minerva Fire Departments.
According to Cameron Fire Chief Henry Horelica, a man on a motorcycle was southbound when he struck a cow in the road. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and transported to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Fire departments remained at the scene for about two hours, directing traffic around the accident scene.
