State troopers were called to several traffic accidents in the Rockdale area during the last seven days.

Trooper Ernest DelBosque said no injuries were reported at 4:38 a.m. Oct. 30 when a vehicle driven by Noe Reyes of Cameron hit a deer on US 77 near the CR 315 intersection.

Damages were termed moderate.

Moderate damages were reported at 9:25 a.m. Oct. 30 on CR 342 near CR 346 when a vehicle operated by Billie Thompson of Rockdale collided with a tree, according to Tice.

According to the DPS, moderate damages were reported in a vehicle-deer collision on US 77 north of CR 314 at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 31 when a vehicle driven by Christopher Ray of Thorn-dale hit a deer.

No injuries were reported.

Another vehicle-deer collision was reported at 9 p.m. Saturday on US 79, east of County Road 434.

Driver was listed as Maria Gonzales of Rock-dale, according to the DPS.

The DPS said Tuesday no report was available on an injury wreck at 9:06 p.m. Monday when a vehicle rolled on US near Mine Services. Troopers said the person remained hospitalized. Rockdale VFD, AMR and the sheriff’s office responded.
