CAMERON—Twelve persons were sentenced in 20th District Court earlier this month, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:
• Demechetist Garnais Garner, 35, Killeen, sentenced to 15-year prison term by Judge John Young-blood after a pre-sentence investigation and a sentencing hearing. Garner had previously pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams).
• Phillip Martin Pounder, 41, Rockdale, four-year prison term after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).
• Antonio Rodriguez Jimenez, 21, Cameron, was sentenced to 10-month state jail term, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Clement David Sr., 53, Rockdale, six-month state jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on original conviction of possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Alayne Macha Fuller, 25, Waco, 180-day county jail term after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original Class A misdemeanor, lesser included attempted forgery.
• Aaron Wayne Norman, 29, Rockdale, was sentenced to 44-day county jail term after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, assault causes bodily injury–family member.
• Danny Rube Hanna Jr., 45, Rockdale, four years deferred adjudication, advanced anger management class, $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to assault family violence–impede breathing/circulation.
• Tanner Michael Clark, 24, Round Rock, five years deferred adjudication $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance less than one gram.
• Manda Mae Emery, 29, Dallas, one year deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Charles Louis Cantrell, 56, Davilla, five-year, probated, prison term, $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to evading arrest with motor vehicle.
• Fernando Reyes Reyes, 48, Cameron, was sentenced to 10-year prison term, probated eight years, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a DWI, third or more.
• Thomas Wesley Owens, 28, Bryan, 10-year prison term, probated three years, SAFP program, restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined after pleading guilty to burglary of habitation.
