State troopers investigated a pair of accidents on South Milam County roadways during the past week, one involving an injury.
According to the Department of Public Safety (DPS), a vehicle operated by Luis Rodriguez, 24, of Thorndale left FM 486 near County road 461 about 10 a.m. Saturday.
The vehicle rolled and the DPS termed damages “extensive.”
Rodriguez was taken to Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock for treatment of his injuries.
No injuries were reported in a 9:44 p.m. Friday accident on US 77 west of County Road 311.
According to the DPS, the vehicle struck a couch in the roadway.
Extensive damages were reported.
