Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:
• Humberto DeLeon Jr., 32, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Ofc. Corey Puente for evading arrest detention with vehicle.
• Clifford Stanley, 32, Oregon, was arrested by Ofc. Lauren Hensley for possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram), possession of controlled substance (4 to 400 grams), two counts fraudulent use/possession of identifying information (number of items less than five), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Accidents
Ofc. Davis responded to 208 Texas Street on Thursday for a vehicle that hit a trash truck and left the scene. The trash truck received minor damage.
Arrests
R PD of f ic er s made eight arrests during the past week including two for DWI, and one each for disorderly conduct, use of sidewalk, driving with license invalid, an RPD Capias warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility, an RPD Capias warrant for speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Calls for service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 254 total calls for service during the past week with 94 being for 911 emergency service.
