Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past seven days including:
• Nathaniel Good, 25, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Puente for tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair.
• Samyr Maradiaga, 37, Lexington, was arrested by Ofc. Lentz on two Milam County Sheriff's Office warrants for assault/family violence impeding breath/ circulation and deadly conduct discharging firearm.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded near East San Andres and Main Street for a two-vehicle accident with unknown injuries on June 12 at 7:28 a.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to near the 1200 block of West Cameron Avenue for a one vehicle accident crashing into an electric pole with no injuries on June 13 at 9:09 a.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to near 400 Perry Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on June 13 at 1 p.m.
Arrests
RPD officers made six arrests during the past week including one each for DWI, resisting arrest, stalking, deadly conduct discharging firearm, public intoxication, and criminal trespass.
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 154 calls for service including 39 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 13 incidents on the report for the past seven days including four for the report only and one each for DWI, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, silent/abuse calls for 911 service, terroristic threat of peace officer, Class C assault, public intoxication, criminal trespass and theft ($100 to $750).
