Two Thorndale events on Saturday, Nov. 9, will raise money for Thorndale Cares as well as collecting canned goods.
The day starts off with a Walk and Run of Love from 10 a.m. to noon. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 105 E. Church St. Big Auntie’s Sweet Potato pies will be auctioned off to raise funds.
In the evening there will be live music and a dance featuring Thorndale’s own Curtis Marcel Clay and his band from 8 p.m. to midnight at Thorndale Fireman’s Hall. Tickets are $10 at the door.
