Rockdale Police made two felony arrests during the past week as follows:
• William Zachary Wallace, 37, Rockdale, violation of bond/protective order with two-plus previous convictions, 2 counts; bond surrenders for impede breath/circulation assault family member; violation of bond/protective order; evading arrest/detention and bond surrender of burglary of vehicle, in custody on $58,000 bond.
• Joe Ramos III, 28, Rockdale, injury to child/ elderly/disabled with bodily injury, Lubbock County warrant for criminal mischief ($750 to $2,500), in custody on $11,100 bond.
Misdemeanor arrests included three on warrant and one each for public intoxication, driving while license invalid with prior convictions, driving while license invalid, no driver’s license and driving while intoxicated.
ACCIDENTS—Police investigated four accidents during the past seven days.
A two vehicle accident was reported at 9:32 a.m. July 29 in the 400 block of Murray.
Drivers were listed as Cody Barcak and Grand Mauldin of Rockdale. Damages were termed minor by police.
Injuries were reported, but no details were available, in a two-vehicle accident at 1:05 p.m. Thursday in front of Banda’s Taqueria on US 79 in western Rockdale.
Drivers were listed Lynette Villanueva and Michael Cartwright, both of Rockdale. Extensive damages were reported.
Minor damages were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 2:50 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of West Cameron Ave. (US 79).
Drivers were listed as Cody Tabor and Frank Burford, both of Rockdale.
Police were called to a two-vehicle collision at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday at the Main-Cameron (FM 908-US 79 intersection).
Drivers were listed as Rajean Sanford of Franklin and Samuel Vanwyk of Can-by, Oregon.
CITATIONS —Police issued 10 citations over the past week, including four for speeding, two each for public intoxication and assault by threat and one each for public intoxication and driving without a license.
SERVICE CALLS—Officers responded to 248 calls for service during the past week and there were 94 911 calls received through the Rockdale Police Department dispatchers.
