Two felony arrests made during week, three accidents listed

Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including:

• Kevin Leo Rubio, 35, Rockdale, was arrested on Friday by Ofc. Wall on a local warrant for criminal trespass, violation of parole warrant for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone (less than 2 ounces), and possession of a controlled substance in a drugfree zone (1 to 4 grams).

• Tristan Nathanial Pecos, 26, Caldwell, was arrested on Sunday by Ofc. Watchtel for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).

Accidents

• Ofc. Lentz and Rockdale VFD responded to Bell at Ackerman for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Wednesday.

• Ofc. Lentz responded to 465 Mill Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Wednesday.

• Sgt. Parker along with AMR and Rockdale VFD responded to Main and San Andres for a two-vehicle accident on Saturday. Both vehicles towed from the scene.

Arrests

RPD officers made three arrests during the past week including one each for a warrant for criminal trespass, possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone (less than 2 ounces), and public intoxication.

Calls for service

Rockdale Police Officers responded to 275 total calls for service including 106 for 911 emergency service.

Incidents

There were 19 incidents on the report for the past seven days including nine for interview room only, and one each for sexual assault of a child, criminal trespass, outstand warrants, possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone (1 to 4 grams), possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone (less than 2 ounces), theft of firearm, deadly conduct, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and unattended death.
