Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past seven days including:
• Daniel Tovar, 40, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Wall for possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), and driving with license invalid with previous conviction.
• Edward Raymond Powell Jr., 19, Rockdale, was arrested Monday by Ofc. Wall for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams).
Accidents
Ofc. Wall responded to Sonic for a hit and run on Saturday.
Arrests
Rockdale Police Officers made 10 arrests during the past week including two for driving with license invalid with previous convictions, and one each for public intoxication with three prior convictions, failure to render aid, no seat belt, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces), failure to maintain financial responsibility, expired drivers license, DWI and DWI second.
Incident Report
There were 26 incidents on the report for the past seven days including 12 for the report only, three for DWI with previous convictions, and one each for outstanding warrants, possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), financial abuse elderly, public intoxication with three previous convictions, burglary of a vehicle, credit or debit card abuse, possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces, expired drivers license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, DWI second and continuous sexual assault of a child.
