Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including: • Ofc. Wall arrested Paul Henry Ruiz, 49, Cuero on a Pardon and Parole Board warrant on June 20.
• Ofc. Wall arrested Henry Sams, 68, Rockdale for assault of family/household member with previous conviction on June 24.
Accidents
• Ofc. Lentz responded to near the 200 block of East Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on June 18 at 10:47 a.m.
• Ofc. Wachtel responded to Cameron Avenue in front of Sonic for a two-vehicle accident on June 21 at 12:54 p.m.
Arrests
RPD officers made seven arrests during the past seven days including two for criminal trespass, and one each for no drivers license, possession of marijuana, driving with license invalid with previous conviction, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief ($750 to $2,500).
Calls for Service
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 220 total calls for service during the past week including 98 for 911 emergency service.
Incident Report
There were 12 incidents on the report for the past week including six for the report only, two for criminal trespass, and one each for no drivers license, violation of emergency protective order, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, burglary of habitation, driving with license invalid, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and assault.
