Both drivers were hurt in an accident last Wednesday on US 77 north of the County Road 312 intersection south of Rockdale, according to the Department of Public Safety.
The DPS said Dalton Self, 22, of Sulfur Springs was taken to Baylor Scott 7 White Hospital in Temple while Evan Lee, 35, of Mansfield was treated at the scene of the accident.
Damaged were termed heavy to both vehicles.
The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene along with an AMR ambulance crew
