Two months to go

The big day is getting closer. On March 13, a little less than two months away, Rockdale plans to move its police department three blocks east, and across the street, to the new building on the corner of Green and East Cameron (US 79). The project in on schedule, according to City Manager Chris Whittaker who said on that date the Milam County Sheriffs Department will be answering calls for about two hours while communications equipment shifts from the old to the new.
