Thursday’s South Milam County United Way Radiothon, held at KRXT-FM, has yielded $26,000 in donations and pledges, so far, according to Gaye Bland, SMCUW vice-president.
The 2020 drive goes to support 16 Rockdale area organizations including Black Jack, Milano, Minerva and Thorndale Volunteer Fire Departments, Rockdale Christian Services/Heavenly Treasures, senior citizens centers and Christmas and Thanksgiving outreaches.
