PRESENTING THE COLORS—Ryan Luckey, representing the FFA, started things off at Rockdale High School’s Veterans Day program by presenting Old Glory.
MILITARY MUSIC—Rockdale High School’s Big Blue Band provided the music for the Veterans Day ceremony at the RHS auditorium. As the flags of the five branches of the military were displayed, the band played the military song for each one.
GRAND OLD FLAG—Rockdale Elementary School’s first graders put on quite a show singing “You’re A Grand Old Flag” while waving their flags in the air.
HOW DO YOU TIRE OUT FOURTH GRADERS?—You hire a Navy Seal of course. Caldwell native, David Knesek, former navy seal and husband of fourth grade teacher Renee Knesek, gave these kids a Navy workout last Thursday.
LOG TEAMWORK—Fourth graders, under the direction of former Navy Seal, David Knesek, lift a log from their left side, over their heads to the right side and back again.
