—Kyle Nuttall, assistant district attorney, and Milam County’s four commissioners made check presentation to Milam volunteer fire departments Monday at the courthouse. The money came from a recent cash seizure on FM 1712. The Rockdale, Cameron, Milano and Thorndale VFDs are receiving $5,000 each and the Buckholts, Burlington, Minerva, Gause, Davilla, and Black Jack VFDs are getting $1,500 each.
