Signed into law by Gov. Greg Abbott in September, Voter Law Senate Bill 1 requires regular mailin voters to submit a new request each year, the applicant can check mark Annual Ballot and receive a ballot for each election for that year.

“The new applications for Ballot By Mail are now required to include a state identification number like a driver’s license number or social security number. You may call our office to request an application or visit our website at www. milamcounty.net/page/ milam.elections to print the form from there,” said Milam County Clerk Jodi Morgan.

Upon returning your ballot, the absentee voter will be required to fill out the information under the flap where you seal the envelope, then sign the return envelope, failure to do so will result in a rejected ballot.
