Voter registration for primary runoffs

The Milam County Election Department will have extended hours for voter registration Monday (June 1), from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Primary runoffs are July 14. There is one in Milam County. Pct. 1 Commissioners Richard “Opey” Watkins faces Henry “Hub” Hubnik in the Republican Primary.

Other extended hours:

• June 10, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• June 13, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• June 15 (final day), 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
