Milam County voters helped re-elect Governor Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Attorney General Ken Paxton, following along with what Texas voters did statewide on Tuesday night.
Milam County went for Abbott (80.35%) over Beto O’Rourke (18.66%). Patrick and Paxton won by similar margins in the county.
In the governor’s race statewide Abbott received 56.9% of the vote to O’Rourke’s 41.9%. At press time, control of the Senate and House was still up for grabs nationally, and many of the other statewide races were still too close to call on Tuesday morning.
