Rockdale City Manager Barbara Holly released a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for a land surveyor for the Washington Heights neighborhood to be replotted.
The surveys of the neighborhood have been difficult since the paving of the streets in the 1980s, because the original survey was thrown off after the new streets went in.
Some area Realtors have said that they won’t sell homes in the neighborhood because of the surveying “nightmares” they have had in the past.
These issues were brought up at the last city council meeting.
