Main Street Bookshop held an eclipse watch party in their parking lot on Monday and even had visitors from London, England stop by. Booths were set up selling lemonade, all kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches, eclipse cookies and cupcakes. Just when Rockdale thought the weather would not be cooperative, the sky cleared and the eclipse was visible to all. At one point the downtown street lights came on as the sky darkened.
