The third in a series of meetings on Rock-dale’s water-sewer plan and projects is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at the city library.
This one will have a different “feel” than the two town hall meetings previously held, according to City Manager Chris Whittaker.
Billed as a “Water Action Group Meeting,” Thursday’s meeting will focus on soliciting specific ideas from the public about the new rate structure which is due to come before the city council for final approval on Feb. 11.
First-reading approval, for an initial $10-million expenditure on what is envisioned as a $63-million-plus expenditure was okayed Jan. 14.
