Amy McQuinn and Reese Weise are this week’s winners in the Rockdale Municipal Development District’s Chow Down Challenge.
The Challenge is designed to assist Rockdale restaurants as they attempt to minimize the impact of closing “eat-in” dining during COVID-19.
The contest lasts through April 26. Winners, announced each Monday, each receive $50.
Here are the rules:
• Eat (drive through or delivery) at three different local restaurants in a week (Monday through Sunday).
• Spend at least $25 at each one.
• Send copies of receipts, along with name and phone number to info@rockdalemdd.com by 10 a.m. Mondays to be entered for a $50 Visa gift card. Drawings will be at noon Mondays.
There are 31 participating restaurants. Details in ad on page 9A.
