There was definitely a Rockdale and Milam County flavor to the annual Texas Workforce Commission Awards Banquet in Killeen Friday evening. Rockdale’s Perry & Perry Construction received the Best Small Business Award and Rockdale ISD Tiger Learning Center picked up the Excellence in Early Education Award. Also, County Judge Steve Young, Rock-dale Municipal Development District Director Kara Clore and Ginger Watkins, Cameron Economic Development executive Director, received an award for working closely together.
